Scholarship Program
LTV Kids Video Program Scholarship Donor Overview
LTV offers both a Kids Video Club, which occurs during February Vacation, April Vacation, and four summer sessions from 9 AM – 4PM. In these sessions, kids learn video production, multicamera editing, single camera editing, podcasting, LIVE studio productions, and much more.
During the school year, we offer an after-school program on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. This program allows kids to gain tools and resources to create digital media and content. Topics they can choose from include podcasting, news, critical reviews, short films, and studio talk shows.
The cost for the Kids Video Club for families is $150 per session and $500 for the school year for either Monday or Tuesday. $750 for both days. We set up the scholarship fund because a lot of parents want their child to take the program multiple times a year or enroll in the after-school program, but can’t afford it. That’s where you come in.
With your institution’s help by submitting a donation to LTV, we can set up the “LTV KVC scholarship fund.” This scholarship will give these children the opportunity to discover their love for video and media production at a young age. Starting in the visual arts at a young age helps motivate students to pursue a career in this field. Past donors have pledged amounts ranging from $2,500 up to $10,000; whatever you can donate will help the longevity of the programs.
All donors will receive recognition in the scholarship section of the LTV website, and at the bottom of the acceptance letter, families will receive.
